Omba Advisory & Investments Ltd, last night won the Emerging Manager category at the annual Private Asset Managers (PAM) awards which were hosted virtually for the first time in their history – yet still attended by over 300 guests.
The PAM Awards are the highest regarded of the UK wealth management awards and are now in their 22nd year. Each year dozens of managers enter the Awards in an in-depth evaluation process and are reviewed by a panel of leading independent industry professionals. This year was no exception with entrants representing clients in excess of £500bn. Entry evaluation is carried out via a Judging Panel of leading experts who combine their market expertise to deliver a combination of quantitative performance attribution analysis with their experience of live client portfolios held with managers in the market.
Mark Perchtold, CEO, said: “We are extremely proud to have won the Emerging Manager award at this year’s PAM awards. We thank our clients for their support, without whom we’d have no firm, and we thank PAM for recognising what we’re bringing to the wealth and asset management industry through our robust investment process, technological proficiency and client-centric business principles”.
David Pierson, Chief Operating Officer, further added: “Omba are thrilled to have won the Emerging Manager award at this year’s PAM awards. It’s a great recognition of what the firm’s achieved to date and we’re very proud to be listed as an award winner alongside financial industry stalwarts.”
